Our mission is to help golfers age athletically by combining science-based training, mobility work, and supportive coaching that improves performance, protects longevity, and unlocks distance, stability, and confidence.
We replace frustration and injury with strength and smart preparation—so golfers can swing freely, perform better, and enjoy the game they love for decades.
Janis is a single-digit handicap and has been playing golf for over 23 years and LOVES this sport. One of her goals is to help other golfers age backwards through mobility and strength training.

Golf isn’t just a hobby for Janis Thornton - it’s a lifelong passion. Janis has a deep curiosity about how our bodies move and she believes golfers shouldn’t have to give up the game they love as they age. That belief led her to create JT Fitness and Golf, LLC, an online personal training company focused on golf fitness.
Before launching her business, Janis spent 25 years in cardiac rehab and pharmaceuticals. Today, she’s proud to help golfers improve strength, mobility, and confidence so they can enjoy the game for decades to come. Her work has been recognized by Golf Digest.
