Stretching for golfers 101…
How many of you stretch before you play golf or do you hop on the first tee and take your first swing?
These are some great stretches to do at home before you play. I promise, stretching before you play golf will help your golf game.
You won’t take as long to get into your game. The older we get, not many people can successfully walk up to the first tee, swing well, and hit great shots.
Stretching and warming up definitely help.
Props you can use for these stretches: towel, magic circle, or strong tubing. You can also not use anything when you are stretching. What makes the props great is it allows you to have better leg extension, and it’s easier to hold you leg in the position you’d like and stay there. You’ll be able to relax into the stretches.
The last 2 stretches you will be using your driver. These exercises can be done on the driving range also.
